Geography

The map in the World of GotA was based on the real rainforest. Also, you will be thrilled to discover that some locations and references in our map was based on real-life places.

The Amazon rainforest in real life has over 6.9 million km², which is larger than the whole Western Europe. Thus, our wmap will potentially be scaled down to a more suitable size. Our team kept the same shape and perimeter, but the places inside our map were relocated to become more integrated and interconnected.

The map is currently under development, although we already know more than 10 different places and drafted the river network that helps Guardians to move around the Amazon quicker.

The first known location in the World of GotA is the Tree House. As you will learn in Mythology, this Tree House has a deep meaning for the Guardians and only a few are lucky enough to enter it.

Guardians' Temple will be further developed as we go, but this is the house of the Guardians, where they rest, train, trade, vote and more.

The Boiling Water River was supposed to be a secret, but we've decided to disclosure to give our members a glance of how powerful the Amazon can be. This river, known as La Bomba, is located in the Peruvian side of the Amazon and it is known to be the deadliest river in the world: the water reaches temperatures from 45ºC to 100ºC and it can literally kill anyone that tries to take a swim!
