Guardians of the Amazon

Guardians of the Amazon (GotA) is an NFT project in Moonbeam that envisions the creation of a better future for both ecosystems: the endangered species in the Amazon rainforest and the new ecosystem in Moonbeam.

Our mission in the real world is to use part of the NFT sales revenue to support initiatives and NGOs that work towards the salvation of endangered species. And for the metaverse, we want to make sure the GotA will generate long-term value not only to hodlers, but also to the Moonbeam community. Our vision is to be a leading DAO in operating exclusively in the Dotsama ecosystem, to drive the future and to thrive together.

Is GotA just another NFT Project?

GotA is a highly ambitious and community-driven project with a focus in creating value for hodlers. Most of the revenue will be used to kickstart a treasury for the GuardiansDAO: A fellowship composed of NFT hodlers that will be not only an exclusive community of art lovers, but also an integral part of the our treasury management and DAO governance, which will benefit hodlers in several ways in the long-term. Another part of the revenues will be use to start the World of GotA: an exciting new universe created specifically to interact with other Dotsama projects.

The GotA team sees the 'Mint Day' as Day 1 and not the goal of the project. The real work has already started and will continue afterwards, when GuardiansDAO and World of GotA go live and we start to build together the future that we wish, brick by brick.
